Cooking tips

  • If you don't have a torch, you can achieve a deep broth flavor by stir-frying the ingredients over high heat in a pan until they are blackened.
  • To ensure the noodles are warm and the broth is seasoned properly, add the cooked noodles directly to the broth and cook them further as if 'to-ryeom' (dipping and heating).
  • Adding all the seasoning paste at once can make the soup too salty, so it's best to taste and adjust gradually.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to easily enjoy the rich and hearty gogi guksu from famous Jeju restaurants at home.
  • Those who want to upgrade store-bought beef bone soup into a deeper and more sophisticated dish.
