- fresh duck meat: 800g
- minced ginger: 1/2 tablespoon
- soybean paste: 1 tablespoon
- gochujang: 3 tablespoons
- red pepper powder: 4 tablespoons
- light soy sauce: 6 tablespoons
- sugar: 1 large tablespoon
- corn syrup: 2 tablespoons
- minced garlic: 2 large tablespoons
- black pepper: 1/2 tablespoon
- onion: 1/2 medium
- cabbage: about a handful
- green chili peppers: 2
- perilla leaves: 10 leaves
- scallions: 1/2 bunch (or a handful of chopped scallions)
- vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
- perilla seed powder: 3 tablespoons
Recipe 🍳
- In a large bowl, place 800g of fresh duck meat and add 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger, 1 tablespoon soybean paste, 3 tablespoons gochujang, 4 tablespoons red pepper powder, 6 tablespoons light soy sauce, 1 large tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, 2 large tablespoons minced garlic, and 1/2 tablespoon black pepper. Mix thoroughly to coat the meat evenly with the marinade.
- Heat a pan until hot, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, then place the marinated duck meat into the pan. Add 1/2 medium onion, about a handful of cabbage, 2 green chili peppers, 10 perilla leaves, and 1/2 bunch of scallions. Stir-fry everything together until well combined.
- Cook until the duck meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are well blended with the meat—this is when the dish is ready.
- Place fresh duck meat in a large bowl and mix with soybean paste, gochujang, red pepper powder, soy sauce, minced ginger, and other seasonings.
- Transfer the marinated duck meat to a heated pan and stir-fry with cabbage, perilla leaves, and other vegetables.
- The dish is complete when the duck meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are well incorporated.
