Ttukdak Hyung's Air Fryer Unagi-don

Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • Vinegar: 50ml
  • Water: 50ml
  • Sugar: 3 tablespoons
  • Salt: 0.1 tablespoon
  • Ginger: 60g
  • Freshwater eel: 500g
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Rice
  • Egg garnish
  • Parsley
  • Teriyaki sauce: 50ml
  • Mirin: 50ml
  • Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons

Recipe 🍳

  1. Mix the following ingredients to make seasoned vinegar. 50ml vinegar, 50ml water, 3 tablespoons sugar, 0.1 tablespoon salt.
  2. Add 60g of ginger to the seasoned vinegar and marinate to make pickled ginger. 60g ginger.
  3. Score the 500g freshwater eel, season with the following ingredients, and bake in a 180°C air fryer for 15 minutes. 500g freshwater eel, salt, pepper.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the following ingredients to make the sauce. 50ml teriyaki sauce, 50ml mirin, 3 tablespoons soy sauce.
  5. Generously brush the sauce onto the pre-cooked eel and bake in a 180°C air fryer for 20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes, place the following ingredients on top of the rice to complete the dish! Rice, egg garnish, grilled eel, pickled ginger, parsley.

  2. Cook or mix the main ingredients with seasoning.
  3. Serve over rice and garnish to complete.
