  • Tofu: 2 blocks
  • Cooking oil: plenty
  • Water: 3 tablespoons
  • Corn syrup: 1.5 cups (based on paper cup, 300g)
  • Ketchup: 5 tablespoons
  • Gochujang: 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Minced garlic: 2 tablespoons
  • Minced onion: 40g
  • Mixed nuts: to taste

Recipe 🍳

  1. Remove moisture from the tofu with a kitchen towel, then cut into bite-sized squares.
  2. Add plenty of oil to a frying pan and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Set aside the fried tofu.
  4. Add the following ingredients to the frying pan and stir well over low heat to make the sauce without burning.
  5. The taste is about 95% similar to Pelicana seasoned chicken sauce.
  6. Water: 3 tablespoons
  7. Corn syrup: 1.5 cups (based on paper cup, 300g)
  8. Ketchup: 5 tablespoons
  9. Gochujang: 3 tablespoons
  1. Remove moisture from the tofu, cut into bite-sized pieces, and pan-fry until golden brown in oil.
  2. In a pan, make the sauce by simmering corn syrup, ketchup, gochujang, and other ingredients.
  3. Add the pan-fried tofu to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.

Cooking tips 💡

  • Completely remove moisture from the tofu and fry until golden brown; this will help it maintain a crispy texture even after being coated in sauce.
