Ttukdak Hyung's Tteokgalbi Rice

  • Beef: 1kg
  • Pork: 600g
  • Sugar: 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce: 50ml
  • Mirin: 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: 0.5 tbsp
  • Pepper: 0.5 tbsp
  • Sweet rice flour: 3 tbsp
  • Green onion: 100g
  • Garlic: 40g
  • Rice: 400g
  • Water: 550ml
  • Tsuyu: 2 tbsp
  • Shiitake mushroom: 50g
  • Oyster mushroom: 50g
  • Chives: 70g
  • Butter: 40g
  • Sesame seeds

Recipe 🍳

  1. Grind once more.
  2. Make the tteokgalbi mixture. Add beef to the grinder. (Using fatty cuts is tastier.) Add pork to the grinder. Add sugar to the grinder. Add soy sauce to the grinder. Add mirin to the grinder. Add oyster sauce to the grinder. Add sesame oil to the grinder. Add salt to the grinder. Add pepper to the grinder. Add sweet rice flour to the grinder. Grind the added ingredients. Add green onion to the grinder. Add garlic to the grinder.
  3. Grill the tteokgalbi. Place parchment paper on a tray and spread the tteokgalbi mixture evenly. Bake in a 170-degree oven for 25 minutes. Cut the tteokgalbi into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Prepare the rice. Add rice to the pot. Add water to the pot. Add tsuyu to the pot. Add shiitake mushrooms to the pot. Add oyster mushrooms to the pot. Boil over high heat until the water boils. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Place chopped green onions on top of the rice. Add chives. Add tteokgalbi. Add butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover with a lid and let it steam for 10 minutes. Tteokgalbi rice is complete.
