  • pork
  • tofu
  • onion
  • green onion
  • cheongyang chili pepper
  • restaurant-style kimchi seasoning

Recipe 🍳

  1. Line the bottom of a pot with thick pork slices, then place whole aged kimchi on top.
  2. Add the prepared restaurant-style kimchi seasoning and pour in enough water to barely cover the ingredients.
  3. Close the lid, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes until the kimchi and pork are completely tender.
  4. After 30 minutes, when the pork and kimchi are fully cooked, add sliced tofu, onion, green onion, and cheongyang chili pepper to the pot.
  5. Simmer on medium heat for another 10 minutes to draw out sweetness from the vegetables and reduce the broth to the desired consistency.

  2. Close the lid and gently simmer on low heat for 30 minutes to make the jjim.
  3. Add tofu and vegetables, then simmer for 10 more minutes to finish.
