Cooking tips

  • Gochujang and gochugaru can easily burn and become bitter if cooked over high heat, so be sure to stir-fry over low heat.
  • To perfectly replicate the deep umami flavor found in restaurants, adding a small amount of seasoning (Dasida) is the key secret.
  • If anchovy sauce is unavailable, it can be substituted with tuna sauce or Kkanari fish sauce. If neither is available, adjust the final seasoning with salt.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to easily enjoy the rich and thick flavor of restaurant-style gochujang stew at home.
  • Those who want to quickly make a deep-flavored stew in a short time.
  • Those who want a hearty meal or side dish with a spicy and savory stew.
