Cooking tips 💡
- The balance of gochujang, ketchup, and oligosaccharide syrup is key to recreating the classic sweet and spicy bunsik sauce.
- Unlike stone pot cheese rice, microwave cooking won't create a crispy bottom crust, but the result is much moister and softer.
- After cooking, mix the cheese and rice thoroughly while hot so the cheese stretches beautifully.
