Recipe

In a frying pan, measure and add 220g sugar, 80g jocheong, 50g water, 40g unsalted butter, and 1g salt. Gently melt over medium heat.
Once the sugar and butter are completely melted and the mixture turns a light brown color and begins to bubble, pour in 200g of heavy cream.
Stir with a spatula to prevent burning, and boil until the caramel deepens to a rich brown color to complete the caramel sauce.
Dip a whole apple (thoroughly washed and a wooden stick inserted deep into it) into the caramel sauce, coating it evenly on all sides.
Lift the apple briefly to let excess caramel drip off and cool slightly, then roll it over a bed of rainbow sprinkles spread on a tray or plate to decorate the surface.
Once the caramel coating has hardened, use a knife to slice the apple into bite-sized pieces and serve.

Boil sugar, jocheong, water, butter, and salt until it turns brown; then add heavy cream and stir until thickened.
Coat a stick-pierced whole apple evenly with warm caramel sauce, then let it cool slightly.
