- Water: 2L
- Salt: 1 tbsp
- Eggs: 15
- Cooking Oil: 2 tbsp
- Beef: 300g
- Salt: 0.1 tbsp
- Pepper: 0.1 tbsp
- Water: 180ml
- Soy Sauce: 90ml
- Mirin: 90ml
- Sugar: 2 tbsp
- Beef Stock Powder: 1 tbsp
- Minced Garlic: 1 tbsp
- Pepper: 0.2 tbsp
- Green Onion: 100g
- Cheongyang Pepper: 30g
- Starch Slurry: Water 180ml, Potato Starch 1 tbsp
- Dark Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
- Sesame Seeds: 2 tbsp
- Sesame Oil: 2 tbsp
Recipe 🍳
- Mix starch and water to make starch slurry.
- Pour in the starch slurry to adjust the thickness.
- Add dark soy sauce (optional).
- Add boiled eggs.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Drizzle with sesame oil.
- Beef and Egg Jangjorim is complete.
- Boil eggs: Add water to a pot and bring to a boil. Add salt. Add eggs and boil for 7 minutes. After boiling for 7 minutes, place the eggs in ice water. Peel the eggs. Lightly oil a frying pan. Add beef. Sprinkle salt on the beef. Sprinkle pepper on the beef. Stir-fry until the beef turns brown. Add water. Add soy sauce. Add mirin. Add sugar. Add beef stock powder. Add minced garlic. Add pepper. Slice and add green onion. Slice and add Cheongyang pepper.
- Boil eggs and peel them. Stir-fry beef in a pan until juices are sealed, then add water, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, beef stock, minced garlic, and pepper, and bring to a boil.
- Add green onions and chili peppers and simmer, then add the boiled eggs and thicken with a cornstarch slurry.
- Finally, sprinkle with black pepper (optional), sesame seeds, and sesame oil to complete the glossy and spicy Beef and Egg Jangjorim.
