Cooking tips

  • Sesame oil has a low smoke point and can burn easily, so stir-fry quickly over low heat to keep the anchovies crisp.
  • Stir-fried anchovies should be cooked over medium-low heat, not high heat, to prevent burning and achieve a crunchy texture.
  • Add starch syrup or jocheong after turning off the heat to maintain the gloss. If using oligosaccharide, you can omit the sugar.
  • Add whole perilla seeds after turning off the heat to preserve their nutty aroma.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to easily make crispy, nutty stir-fried anchovies.
  • Those who enjoy the popping texture of whole perilla seeds.
  • Those looking for a quick lunchbox side dish.
