- LA Galbi: 3kg
- Pear: 500g
- Apple: 200g
- Onion: 150g
- Pineapple: 200g
- Cheongyang Pepper: 10g
- Water: 360ml
- Soy Sauce: 300ml
- Mirin: 200ml
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Oligosaccharide: 3 tablespoons
- Minced Garlic: 3 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil: 3 tablespoons
- Black Pepper: 1 tablespoon
- Green Onion: 150g
- Dark Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Recipe 🍳
- Wash 3kg of LA Galbi thoroughly under running water.
- In a blender, combine and blend the following ingredients: 500g pear, 200g apple, 150g onion, 200g pineapple, 10g Cheongyang pepper, 360ml water.
- Strain the juice through a sieve, then add and mix the following ingredients: 300ml soy sauce, 200ml mirin, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons oligosaccharide, 3 tablespoons minced garlic, 3 tablespoons sesame oil, 1 tablespoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (omit if unavailable). Add 150g green onion.
- In a large container, layer the marinade and LA Galbi, then refrigerate and marinate for one day.
- After one day, grill until slightly charred and serve.
- If you prefer a moister style, place the galbi and marinade in a pan, bring to a boil over high heat, and cook.
- You can also make galbi fried rice by adding the following ingredients to the leftover marinade and stir-frying: rice, kimchi, seaweed flakes, sesame seeds.
- Marinate LA galbi in a sauce made from blended pear, apple, onion, pineapple, and chili peppers for one day.
- Quickly grill the marinated LA galbi over high heat until the surface is slightly charred.
- Optionally, stir-fry rice in the remaining marinade to make galbi fried rice.
