- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 3 tbsp chopped apple

Recipe 🍳
- Season the thick whole pork neck generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Place the pork neck in an air fryer preheated to 170°C and cook for 30 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the air fryer and sear in a pan with a little oil over high heat until the surface is crispy.
- In the same pan used for the meat, add the sliced king oyster mushroom and whole garlic cloves, cook until golden, then set aside with the meat on a plate.
- In a new pan, add butter, chopped onion, and chopped apple. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- When the sauce begins to thicken, add the whole grain mustard and mix well to complete the apple cream sauce.
- Pour the sauce generously over the pork neck steak on the plate, and sprinkle with parsley powder to finish.
- Season the whole pork neck, air-fry at 170°C for 30 minutes, then sear in a pan until crispy on the outside.
- Cook the king oyster mushroom and garlic in the meat fat and set on the plate with the meat.
- Sauté onion and apple in butter, add heavy cream and whole grain mustard, simmer to make the sauce, and pour over the meat.
Cooking tips 💡
- Generously season the pork neck with salt and pepper—more than you think necessary—so the thick meat is well-seasoned throughout.
- Chop the apple with a knife for texture rather than grating it too finely, so you get a pleasant crunch in the cream sauce.
- If you don't have heavy cream, combine milk and sliced cheese for a budget-friendly yet rich and creamy flavor.
