Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • 300g beef for bulgogi
  • 1 cup galbi-jjim sauce
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 red chili pepper
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3 drizzles of sesame oil
  • Plenty of sesame seeds
  • A little scallions

Recipe 🍳

  1. Pat the beef for bulgogi dry with paper towels. Pour 1 cup of galbi-jjim sauce over it and mix well. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Slice the green onions and red chili pepper diagonally. Slice the onion. Remove the stems from the shiitake mushrooms and slice them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add the prepared vegetables to the marinated beef and mix well. Let marinate for another 10 minutes.
  4. Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over high heat until it just begins to smoke. Add the marinated beef and vegetables all at once.
  5. Maintain high heat and quickly stir-fry, breaking up the meat to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once the meat is fully cooked, turn off the heat. Drizzle with 3 rounds of sesame oil, add crushed sesame seeds and chopped scallions, and toss lightly to finish.
  1. Marinate the beef with galbi-jjim sauce for 10 minutes.
  2. Chop the green onions, onions, shiitake mushrooms, and red chili pepper into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine the marinated beef with the vegetables and marinate for another 10 minutes.
  4. Stir-fry quickly over high heat in a hot pan, then finish with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and scallions.

Cooking tips 💡

  • To maintain the crispness of the vegetables, it is crucial to stir-fry quickly over high heat, not medium heat.
  • When serving to guests, pay attention to the arrangement of the red chili peppers as a garnish for a more appealing presentation.
