Seungwoo Dad's Scallion Ramyeon

A fragrant stir-fried ramyeon tossed in a soy sauce and oyster sauce mixture with scallions lightly fried in oil.

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • 1 pack of ramyeon noodles
  • 1 handful of scallions
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar

Recipe 🍳

  1. Roughly chop the scallions into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Boil the ramyeon noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then drain.
  3. In a pan, add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil and the scallions. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until golden to infuse the oil with scallion flavor.
  4. Once the scallion aroma rises, turn off the heat. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, and sugar, and mix using residual heat.
  5. Add the drained noodles and toss well to coat evenly with the sauce.
  1. Boil the noodles for 2 minutes 30 seconds and drain.
  2. Stir-fry scallions in oil to make scallion oil.
  3. Turn off heat, add sauce and noodles, and toss.

  • When mixing the sauce and noodles, be sure to turn off the heat first to prevent the sauce from burning or becoming too salty.
  • Adjust the noodle doneness to your preference, but for bibim-style, slightly undercooked noodles are recommended.
