Seungwoo Dad's 3 Types of Microwave Pasta

A recipe for easily making three types of pasta – tuna tomato, salmon oyster sauce, and spam aglio e olio – using only a microwave without pots or fire.

Cooking tips

  • Before mixing the ingredients and sauce, taste the sauce on its own; it should be noticeably saltier than you normally prefer, so that it doesn't become bland after mixing with the pasta and vegetables.
  • Long pasta like spaghetti takes longer to absorb water and cook compared to fusilli or penne, so increase the cooking time to a total of 7 minutes for the first heating and 7 minutes for the second heating to ensure it's cooked through to the center.
  • Instead of Spam or canned tuna, you can use bacon or leftover meat. Adding a little olive oil to your preference will enhance the flavor.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to make pasta with minimal cleanup, without using fire or pots.
  • Those who want to use up canned tuna, salmon, or Spam received as gifts in a unique way.
  • Beginner cooks who struggle with cooking pasta evenly and often fail.
