Seonkyoung Longest's Kongguksu

A rich and nutty traditional summer kongguksu made by boiling soaked soybeans and grinding them fresh.

Ingredients needed 2 servings

Recipe

Cooking tips

  • Boiling the soybeans too long can create a fermented bean smell, so boil for only about 5 minutes after the water comes to a boil.
  • When blending, add the soybean boiling water little by little to adjust the consistency to your liking.
  • Season with salt just before eating, and add cucumber garnish if desired.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to enjoy a cool, nutty soup dish on a hot summer day.
  • Those who want to make a rich, authentic kongguksu at home.
