  • short ribs 1 pack
  • olive oil as needed
  • minced garlic 1 tablespoon
  • salt a pinch
  • soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • katsudon sauce (or oyster sauce) 2 tablespoons
  • sugar 1 tablespoon
  • canned corn 1 can
  • mozzarella cheese as needed
  • cheddar cheese 1 slice

Recipe 🍳

  1. Soak the short ribs in cold water to fully remove blood, then pat dry thoroughly with kitchen paper.
  2. After drying, lightly sprinkle olive oil, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and a pinch of salt over the ribs for marinating.
  3. In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of katsudon sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sugar to create the homemade marinade.
  4. Coat the short ribs evenly with the marinade and place them in the air fryer to cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, heat canned corn, mozzarella cheese, and cheddar cheese together in a microwave-safe dish to make the corn cheese mixture.
  6. After grilling, apply any remaining marinade generously to the ribs, then briefly reheat in the air fryer before plating with the corn cheese.
  1. Remove blood from short ribs and marinate with garlic, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Apply a mixture of soy sauce, katsudon sauce, and sugar evenly to the ribs.
