Cooking tips

  • Instead of rinsing, simmer the dried filefish in a little cooking wine and water added gradually to keep it tender.
  • Boil the sauce separately from the filefish to remove the raw, pasty aroma of gochujang, and add the softened filefish only after turning off the heat to prevent it from becoming tough.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise off the heat so it doesn't separate and keeps the dish moist for a long time.

Recommended for

  • Households with elderly or children who have weak teeth or find hard side dishes difficult to eat.
  • Those who want a moist stir-fried dried filefish that stays tender even after being refrigerated for a long time.
  • Those who want to easily make a high-quality side dish without worrying about heat control.
