Solo Cooking God's Creamy Curry Udon

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • 1 pack of udon noodles
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 sheet of square fish cake
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder

Recipe 🍳

  1. Add oil to a pan and add the sliced onion and chopped square fish cake.
  2. Stir-fry over medium heat until the onion turns golden brown to bring out its sweetness.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of milk and add the udon noodles directly, then bring to a boil.
  4. Wait until the udon noodles naturally loosen, then stir gently.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of curry powder and stir well to dissolve without clumping.
  6. Simmer over low heat until desired thickness is reached, then transfer to a bowl to finish.
  1. Stir-fry the onion and fish cake in a pan until golden.
  2. Add milk and udon noodles, and gently loosen the noodles.
  3. Add curry powder and simmer to desired thickness to finish.

Cooking tips 💡

  • If you try to force the udon noodles apart, they may break, so wait until they naturally loosen as the milk boils.
  • If you don't have milk, water can be substituted, but using milk gives a much richer and creamier flavor.
