Ttukdak Hyung's Myeongran-sotbap
A pollock roe rice cooked in kelp broth with pollock roe, garlic, and shiitake mushrooms sautéed in butter, flavored with chopped green onions, chives, and perilla oil.

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- Rice: 300g (2 cups by paper cup)
- Water: 360ml (2 cups by paper cup)
- Kelp
- Anchovy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Butter: 30g
- Pollock roe: 150g
- Garlic: 70g
- Shiitake mushrooms: 100g
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Scallions: 120g
- Chives: 70g
- Perilla oil: 1 tablespoon
Recipe 🍳
- In a bowl, combine the following ingredients and soak for 30 minutes. 1) 300g of thoroughly washed rice (1/2 cup by paper cup) 2) 360ml of water (2 cups by paper cup) 3) Kelp 4) 1 tablespoon of anchovy sauce.
- In a pot, combine and stir-fry the following ingredients. 1) 30g of butter 2) 150g of pollock roe.
- Once the surface of the pollock roe is cooked, remove it and stir-fry the following ingredients. 1) 70g of garlic 2) 100g of shiitake mushrooms 3) 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
- When the mushrooms are wilted, add the soaked rice and water, and stir continuously until the water boils.
- Once the water boils, cover with a lid and cook for 12 minutes.
- After 12 minutes, add the following ingredients, turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let it steam for 10 minutes to complete. 1) 120g of scallions 2) 70g of chives 3) Grilled pollock roe 4) 1 tablespoon of perilla oil.
- Soak rice in water with kelp and anchovy sauce for 30 min. In a pot, melt butter and sauté cod roe, set aside. Sauté garlic and shiitake with soy sauce.
- Add soaked rice and water to the mushrooms, bring to a boil, cover and cook 12 min.
- Turn off heat, add green onions, chives, grilled cod roe, perilla oil, cover and steam 10 min.

- It is recommended to use low-sodium pollock roe when making sotbap.
