- Red scallops
- A small amount of soju
- Sweet corn
- Tomato sauce
- Chogochujang
- Mayonnaise
- Minced garlic
- Mozzarella cheese
Recipe 🍳
- Before cooking, scrub the red scallops clean under running water with a brush to remove any impurities.
- Place the scallops in a steamer once the steam rises, lightly pour soju over them, and steam for 10 minutes until fully cooked.
- While the scallops are steaming, mix sweet corn, tomato sauce, chogochujang, mayonnaise, and minced garlic in a bowl to make the special sauce.
- Remove the top shell from the steamed scallops, leaving the meat attached to the bottom shell. Generously top with the prepared sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Place the scallops in a preheated oven or air fryer at 160°C and bake for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Clean the scallops and steam them with soju for 10 minutes.
- Mix sweet corn, tomato sauce, chogochujang, mayonnaise, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
- Top the scallops with the sauce and cheese, then bake at 160°C for 5 minutes.

- If you don't have an oven, you can use an air fryer or microwave to melt the cheese.
- Adding a splash of soju when steaming the scallops effectively removes the fishy smell of seafood.
