  • A small amount of soju
  • Sweet corn
  • Tomato sauce

  • Mayonnaise
  • Minced garlic
  • Mozzarella cheese

Recipe 🍳

  1. Before cooking, scrub the red scallops clean under running water with a brush to remove any impurities.
  2. Place the scallops in a steamer once the steam rises, lightly pour soju over them, and steam for 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. While the scallops are steaming, mix sweet corn, tomato sauce, chogochujang, mayonnaise, and minced garlic in a bowl to make the special sauce.
  4. Remove the top shell from the steamed scallops, leaving the meat attached to the bottom shell. Generously top with the prepared sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Place the scallops in a preheated oven or air fryer at 160°C and bake for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
