Recipe

In a pot, combine the water, vinegar, sugar, and salt in the specified amounts and boil over high heat until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved, creating the brine.
Once the brine comes to a rolling boil, turn off the heat and let it cool down to lukewarm at room temperature, just enough for the intense heat to dissipate.
Neatly pack the thinly sliced carrots into a clean, sterilized glass jar or airtight container.
Pour the slightly cooled, warm brine over the carrots in the container until they are fully submerged.
Once the brine has completely cooled, seal the container tightly with its lid and refrigerate for one day to allow it to mature deliciously before enjoying.
