Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- apple : 100g (1/2 piece)
- soy sauce : 90ml (1/2 cup using paper cup)
- brown sugar : 2 tablespoons
- mirin : 2 tablespoons
- sesame oil : 2 tablespoons
- minced garlic : 2 tablespoons
- pork belly : 600g
- rice cake : 150g
- Chinese pepper
- honey : 2 tablespoons
- water : 4 tablespoons
Recipe 🍳
- Place apple 100g (1/2 piece), soy sauce 90ml (1/2 cup using paper cup), brown sugar 2 tablespoons, mirin 2 tablespoons, sesame oil 2 tablespoons, and minced garlic 2 tablespoons into a blender and blend until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine pork belly 600g, rice cake 150g, and the prepared marinade. Mix well and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Grill using a frying pan or bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
- Skewer rice cake, pork belly, and Chinese pepper onto bamboo skewers.
- Mix honey 2 tablespoons with water 4 tablespoons to make a honey glaze. Brush the glaze onto the skewers and grill once more.
- Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds over the perfectly grilled yuckjeok.
- Blend apple, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and other ingredients in a blender to make the marinade.
- Marinate pork belly and rice cake in the marinade, then grill using a pan or oven.
