soy sauce 2 tablespoons
gochujang 1 tablespoon
red pepper powder 1 tablespoon
oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
sugar 1/2 tablespoon
corn syrup 3 tablespoons
minced garlic 1 tablespoon
black pepper to taste
mirin 2 tablespoons
water 3 tablespoons
sesame oil 1 tablespoon
vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
toasted sesame oil 1 tablespoon
whole sesame seeds 1 tablespoon

Recipe 🍳

Cut the 6 square fish cake pieces into long strips, about 1.5cm apart, creating a crisscross pattern.
Rinse 500g of fresh kimchi briefly under water to remove the outer seasoning, then squeeze out excess moisture. Cut into bite-sized pieces or tear the stems apart.
Slice green onion diagonally into 1 bunch, and dice 1/2 medium onion into 1cm thick pieces.
Mix together: 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon gochujang, 1 tablespoon red pepper powder, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1/2 tablespoon sugar, 3 tablespoons corn syrup, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, a pinch of black pepper, 2 tablespoons mirin, and 3 tablespoons water to make a thin sauce.
Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon sesame oil and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil over high heat. Add the rinsed fresh kimchi and diced onion, and stir-fry as if grilling until well browned.
Once the kimchi and onion turn slightly browned and caramelized, add the cut fish cake pieces and continue stir-frying until the edges become golden brown.
Clear the center of the pan, reduce heat to medium, then pour in the prepared sauce and bring to a boil.
When the sauce begins to bubble, add the green onion and quickly stir-fry everything until evenly coated. Turn off the heat.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil and 1 tablespoon whole sesame seeds evenly over the dish, mixing thoroughly to finish.

Dice the fish cake, green onion, and onion. Rinse fresh kimchi lightly to remove seasoning, squeeze dry, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Combine soy sauce, gochujang, red pepper powder, oyster sauce, corn syrup, and other sauce ingredients to make a thin sauce.
Heat a pan with sesame oil and vegetable oil. Stir-fry the kimchi and onion until browned like grilled food, then add fish cake, sauce, and green onion, and cook down until fully blended. Finish with toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds.
