- a pinch of seasoned salt
- 1 slice of cheese

- Crack 2 eggs into a microwave-safe bowl or container.

- To enhance the savory flavor, roughly tear 1 slice of cheese and place it on top of the egg mixture.
- Cover the container with plastic wrap and poke one or two holes with a chopstick to allow steam to escape.
- Microwave for about 3 minutes.
- Take out the gyeranjjim with the cheese gently melted and enjoy it while warm.
- Put eggs, seasoned salt, and water in a microwave-safe bowl and mix.
- Tear the sliced cheese and place it on top, cover with plastic wrap, and poke holes.
- Microwave for 3 minutes to finish.
Cooking tips 💡
- Since the cheese adds a subtle saltiness as it blends with the egg mixture, you can use less salt than usual.
- Cooking speed may vary depending on microwave power, so if it’s not fully cooked after 3 minutes, microwave in additional 30-second increments.
