Seungwoo Dad's Air Fryer Gimmari Gangjeong
A dish of crispy gimmari tossed in a quick sauce made with honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and spicy peppers.

- 10 frozen gimmari
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 pepper
Recipe 🍳
- Place frozen gimmari in the air fryer basket without overlapping and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes until crispy.
- While the gimmari are cooking, mix 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, and 1 tsp oyster sauce in a bowl to make the gangjeong sauce.
- Slice a green or red chili pepper into small rings to add a spicy kick.
- As soon as the gimmari come out of the air fryer, drop them into the bowl of sauce.
- Add the sliced pepper and quickly toss with a spoon until the sauce evenly coats the gimmari.
- Cook frozen gimmari in an air fryer at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and oyster sauce in a bowl to make the sauce.
- Toss the cooked gimmari and sliced pepper in the sauce and serve immediately.

- No need to heat the sauce on the stove—the heat from the freshly air-fried gimmari is enough for the sauce to be absorbed well into the batter.
- For spice lovers, substitute regular peppers with plenty of chopped cheongyang peppers for a fantastic kkanpunggi flavor.
