- honey 2 tablespoons
- a pinch of salt
- chopped nuts 1 tablespoon
- a little egg wash
- minced garlic 1 teaspoon
Recipe 🍳
- Place boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them smoothly.
- Mix honey, salt, and chopped nuts into the mashed potatoes until well combined to make the potato filling.
- Lay out one tortilla, sprinkle a light layer of pizza cheese on it, then spread the mashed potato filling evenly over the surface.
- Add another generous layer of pizza cheese on top of the potato filling.
- Brush the edges of the tortilla with egg wash and place the second tortilla on top, pressing the edges firmly to seal.
- Place on a preheated dry skillet, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat until golden brown on both sides.
- Cut the baked bread and serve with a sauce made by mixing minced garlic and honey.
- Mash boiled potatoes and mix in honey, salt, and nuts.
- Layer on tortilla: cheese, potato filling, then more cheese.
- Cover with another tortilla and press the edges together.
- Cook on both sides in a dry pan, then serve with garlic-honey sauce.
Cooking tips 💡
- Cooking on a dry pan over low heat prevents the tortillas from burning and ensures crispiness.
- Mixing a small amount of minced garlic into the honey creates a much more flavorful sauce.
