- finely chopped green onion 2 tablespoons
- finely chopped garlic 1 tablespoon
- finely chopped bell pepper/red chili/yellow chili a little of each
- soy sauce 3 tablespoons
- vinegar 3 tablespoons
- sugar 2 tablespoons
- water 3 tablespoons
- oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
- chili oil 2 tablespoons
Recipe 🍳
- Wash the napa cabbage thoroughly, then cut it lengthwise into 2–4 equal pieces.
- Place the cabbage in a steamer once steam is rising, cover, and steam for about 10–15 minutes until fully softened.
- Finely chop green onion, garlic, bell pepper, and chili peppers, and combine them in a bowl to preserve texture and color.
- In the bowl with the chopped vegetables, add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, water, oyster sauce, and chili oil according to the amounts, and mix well to create a fresh, custom soy sauce.
- Remove the tenderly steamed cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces, arrange on a serving plate, and generously pour the prepared sauce over the top to finish.
- Cut the cabbage lengthwise and steam in a steamer with rising steam for 10–15 minutes.
- Finely chop green onion, garlic, chili peppers, and bell pepper.
- Mix chopped vegetables with soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chili oil, and other seasonings to make the sauce.
- Arrange the steamed cabbage on a plate and generously drizzle with the homemade sauce.
