  • napa cabbage 1/2 head
  • finely chopped green onion 2 tablespoons
  • finely chopped garlic 1 tablespoon
  • finely chopped bell pepper/red chili/yellow chili a little of each
  • soy sauce 3 tablespoons
  • vinegar 3 tablespoons
  • sugar 2 tablespoons
  • water 3 tablespoons
  • oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
  • chili oil 2 tablespoons

Recipe 🍳

  1. Wash the napa cabbage thoroughly, then cut it lengthwise into 2–4 equal pieces.
  2. Place the cabbage in a steamer once steam is rising, cover, and steam for about 10–15 minutes until fully softened.
  3. Finely chop green onion, garlic, bell pepper, and chili peppers, and combine them in a bowl to preserve texture and color.
  4. In the bowl with the chopped vegetables, add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, water, oyster sauce, and chili oil according to the amounts, and mix well to create a fresh, custom soy sauce.
  5. Remove the tenderly steamed cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces, arrange on a serving plate, and generously pour the prepared sauce over the top to finish.
  1. Cut the cabbage lengthwise and steam in a steamer with rising steam for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Finely chop green onion, garlic, chili peppers, and bell pepper.
  3. Mix chopped vegetables with soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chili oil, and other seasonings to make the sauce.
  4. Arrange the steamed cabbage on a plate and generously drizzle with the homemade sauce.
