Recipe

Trim the fine hairs and pointed tips at the end of the chestnuts using scissors or a knife.
Place the prepared chestnuts in lukewarm water and wash thoroughly about three times.
Pour water into a pot, bring to a boil, place a steamer basket inside, and evenly arrange the chestnuts without overlapping.
Cover the pot and steam over medium-high heat for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the chestnuts sit covered for 10 minutes without opening the lid.
After steaming, remove the chestnuts immediately and briefly rinse under cold water to cool down the outer heat.
Cut the steamed chestnuts in half or bite into them, then gently scoop out the flesh with a spoon and enjoy.
