Cooking tips
- When using firm vegetables like carrots or radishes as skewer ingredients, lightly blanch them in salted water beforehand to prevent them from breaking and to make them easier to skewer.
- To preserve the beautiful front color of the sanjeok, it's best to coat the pancake mix on only one side (the back) or to coat the entire skewer and then brush off as thinly as possible.
- Don't throw away leftover scraps from making sanjeok; finely chop them, stir-fry with rice, and season with soy sauce and sesame oil for a delicious fried rice.
Recommended for
- Those who want to create a holiday atmosphere but are daunted by complex ingredient preparation.
- Those who want to deliciously and neatly organize various leftover ingredients in their refrigerator.
- Those who want to make colorful side dishes while having fun cooking with their children.
