Yoon Yi-ryeon's miyeok naengchae

Sweet and sour summer miyeok naengchae tossed in mustard sauce

Ingredients needed 2 servings

Recipe

Cooking tips

  • Mix the mustard powder with water to achieve a thick consistency. It might taste very pungent at first, but the sharp aroma will mellow out once tossed with the ingredients.
  • I used less sugar and brought out the sour and sweet flavors using maesil extract.
  • Since the Korean piman pepper is firm, this can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • It is also delicious if you slice cucumbers lengthwise into half-moons and add them.

Recommended for

  • Those who want a sweet and sour side dish to stimulate their appetite in the summer.
  • Those looking for a low-calorie healthy diet menu.
  • Those who want to learn a simple seaweed dish that is easy to make.
