🙋 Recommended for

  • Those who want to achieve a premium, restaurant-quality taste at home with minimal effort and simple cooking methods
  • People looking for elegant table settings for guests or special dinner party appetizers

Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • 150g pork for jajjabe
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Recipe 🍳

  1. Cut the bell peppers in half, remove the white inner flesh and seeds cleanly, then slice into uniform pieces.
  2. Slice the onion into pieces similar in size and thickness to the bell peppers, and set aside for cooking.
  3. Heat a pan and add cooking oil, then stir-fry the prepared pork until it turns white and fully cooked.
  4. Once the pork is partially cooked, add a small amount of soy sauce to give the meat a glossy, appetizing sheen and aroma.
  5. Add the prepared onion and bell peppers all at once to the pan, and stir-fry over high heat until they blend smoothly.
  6. Add oyster sauce and black pepper to adjust seasoning, then turn off the heat just as the vegetables retain their crisp texture.
  1. Clean out the cores of the bell pepper and onion, then cut them into uniform slices.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the pork until browned, then add soy sauce for flavor.
  3. Add the onion and bell pepper, then quickly stir-fry over high heat with oyster sauce and black pepper until well combined.

Cooking tips 💡

  • To prevent excessive moisture loss from the vegetables, maintain high heat throughout the entire cooking process and stir-fry quickly from start to finish.
  • For added richness, you can include shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, button mushrooms, or shrimp based on personal preference.
