Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • bread 4 slices
  • shrimp 200g
  • chicken powder a pinch
  • starch 0.5 tablespoon
  • vegetable oil generously
  • ketchup 1 tablespoon
  • sugar 1 tablespoon
  • water 2 tablespoons

Recipe 🍳

  1. Cut off the crusts from the bread and divide each slice into four equal parts.
  2. Chop the shrimp finely, then mix in chicken powder and starch, kneading until sticky.
  3. Place a generous amount of shrimp filling between two bread slices, pressing firmly in the center to shape.
  4. Fry slowly in oil heated to about 160 degrees, then increase the temperature at the end to achieve a golden color.
  5. Boil sugar, water, and ketchup together to make the sauce, then serve alongside.
  1. Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces and mince the shrimp, seasoning and kneading until sticky.
  2. Insert the shrimp filling between the bread slices, press to shape, and fry until golden brown.
  3. Prepare the ketchup sauce and serve on the side.

  • Knead the shrimp filling until it becomes sticky so it won’t separate from the bread during frying.
  • Press firmly in the center to prevent the filling from bulging out, which improves texture and maintains shape during frying.
