Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- Shinjeon Tteokbokki sauce: 1 serving
- Garlic: 8-10 cloves
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Bacon: 3 strips
- Onion: 1/2
- Vienna sausages: 5
- Heavy cream: 200ml
- Pasta: 1-2 servings
- Whole black pepper: a little
- Parsley: a little
- Parmesan cheese powder: to taste
Recipe 🍳
- Thinly slice 8-10 cloves of garlic (about a handful), then lightly sauté them in a pan with olive oil (or cooking oil).
- Cut 3 strips of bacon into bite-sized pieces and sauté until golden brown with the garlic.
- Once the bacon is crispy, add 1/2 onion and 5 Vienna sausages and stir-fry.
- Thinly slice 1/2 onion and add it.
- Making slits in the Vienna sausages will help them absorb the sauce better.
- When the onion becomes semi-translucent, add 200ml of heavy cream and 1 serving of Shinjeon Tteokbokki sauce.
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt to boiling water, add 1 serving of pasta, and boil for exactly 7 minutes.
- Add the pasta boiled for 7 minutes, along with a ladleful of pasta water. Quickly reduce the sauce over high heat to prevent the pasta from getting soggy.
- The sauce will thicken considerably when the heat is turned off, so finish cooking when there is still some sauce remaining.
- Serve on a plate, freshly grind a little black pepper over it, and top with parsley and Parmesan cheese powder for a appetizing finish.
