Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • Shinjeon Tteokbokki sauce: 1 serving
  • Garlic: 8-10 cloves
  • Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Bacon: 3 strips
  • Onion: 1/2
  • Vienna sausages: 5
  • Heavy cream: 200ml
  • Pasta: 1-2 servings
  • Whole black pepper: a little
  • Parsley: a little
  • Parmesan cheese powder: to taste

Recipe 🍳

  1. Thinly slice 8-10 cloves of garlic (about a handful), then lightly sauté them in a pan with olive oil (or cooking oil).
  2. Cut 3 strips of bacon into bite-sized pieces and sauté until golden brown with the garlic.
  3. Once the bacon is crispy, add 1/2 onion and 5 Vienna sausages and stir-fry.
  4. Thinly slice 1/2 onion and add it.
  5. Making slits in the Vienna sausages will help them absorb the sauce better.
  6. When the onion becomes semi-translucent, add 200ml of heavy cream and 1 serving of Shinjeon Tteokbokki sauce.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to boiling water, add 1 serving of pasta, and boil for exactly 7 minutes.
  8. Add the pasta boiled for 7 minutes, along with a ladleful of pasta water. Quickly reduce the sauce over high heat to prevent the pasta from getting soggy.
  9. The sauce will thicken considerably when the heat is turned off, so finish cooking when there is still some sauce remaining.
  10. Serve on a plate, freshly grind a little black pepper over it, and top with parsley and Parmesan cheese powder for a appetizing finish.
