  • Those who need to quickly serve an impressive finger food or visually appealing dish when guests come over

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • A little olive oil
  • Some tomato spaghetti sauce
  • A little water
  • 2-3 eggs
  • A little salt
  • A little pepper
  • Some cheddar cheese
  • Some mozzarella cheese
  • A little parsley powder

Recipe 🍳

  1. Lightly drizzle olive oil on the bottom of a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce on top, and mix in a little water to adjust the consistency.
  3. Carefully crack the eggs over the sauce.
  4. To prevent the yolks from exploding during cooking, poke the yolks a few times with a fork.
  5. Lightly season the eggs with salt and pepper.
  6. Generously top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with parsley powder.
  7. Microwave for 5 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  1. Coat a bowl with olive oil, add tomato sauce, water, and eggs.
  2. Poke the yolks well with a fork, then top generously with salt, pepper, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Microwave for 5 minutes to melt the cheese completely and serve.

Cooking tips 💡

  • If you don't poke the egg yolks with a fork before microwaving, the pressure can cause them to explode from the inside, so be sure to do this.
  • The finished Eggs in Hell is delicious on its own, but it also makes a hearty meal when served with toasted baguette, sliced bread, or rye bread for dipping in the sauce.
  • For a richer flavor, you can snip some Vienna sausages or bacon with scissors and mix them into the sauce according to your taste.
