Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- 1 slice bread
- some Greek yogurt
- a little allulose
- 1 egg
Recipe 🍳
- Using the back of a spoon, press down firmly on the center of the bread slice to create a well-like indentation for the filling.
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, allulose, and egg. Whisk or stir until smooth and lump-free to make the yogurt custard batter.
- Fill the indentation in the bread with the prepared batter, being careful not to overflow.
- Place the bread in an air fryer preheated to 170°C (338°F) and bake for about 15 minutes until the batter is puffed up and set.
- Press the center of the bread with a spoon to make a bowl-shaped hollow.
- Mix Greek yogurt, allulose, and egg evenly to create a cream batter, then pour it into the hollow.
- Bake in an air fryer at 170°C (338°F) for 15 minutes until the cream is set.
Cooking tips 💡
- When pressing the bread hollow, control the pressure to avoid tearing the bottom or creating a hole, which would cause the batter to leak out.
- Chill the baked bread in the refrigerator rather than eating it immediately; the cream will firm up and become thicker, yielding a texture similar to real custard pudding.
