  • cooking foil
  • soybean paste 3 tablespoons
  • minced garlic 2 tablespoons
  • honey 1 tablespoon
  • oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
  • green onion 1 stalk
  • green chili pepper 2 pieces
  • leftover soybean paste marinade
  • gochujang 1 tablespoon
  • ground red pepper 1 tablespoon

Recipe 🍳

  1. In a bowl, combine soybean paste 3 tablespoons, minced garlic 2 tablespoons, honey 1 tablespoon, oyster sauce 1 tablespoon, green onion 1 stalk, and green chili pepper 2 pieces. Mix well to make the soybean paste sauce.
  2. Generously coat a strip of pork belly with the prepared soybean paste marinade, then place it into the bamboo tube.
  3. Seal the opening of the bamboo tube with cooking foil, then steam in a steamer for about 50 minutes.
  4. Remove the pork belly from the bamboo tube and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. To the leftover soybean paste marinade, add gochujang 1 tablespoon and ground red pepper 1 tablespoon to create the spicy gochujang sauce.
  6. Coat another strip of pork belly generously with the finished gochujang marinade, then place it back into the bamboo tube.
