Recipe

Soften 150g of room-temperature butter and cream it well with a spatula until smooth.
Add 100g of sugar and a pinch of salt in batches, mixing evenly with the butter.
Gradually add 1 beaten egg in small portions, mixing well to prevent separation, then add a little vanilla extract.
Sift in 200g of cake flour and fold gently to avoid developing gluten, forming the dough.
Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe desired shapes onto an oven pan.
Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 12–13 minutes until golden.
