Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 egg
- 1 premium sausage
- 2 strips bacon
- plenty of ham
- 3-4 slices salami
- 7 slices sliced cheese
- 1/4 onion
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 bay leaf
- a pinch of salt
- a little cooking oil
Recipe 🍳
- Heat a pan with cooking oil, crack the egg and fry sunny side up without breaking the yolk, then set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the sausage and bacon until golden and crispy.
- In the same pan, add the minced onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, beer, water, and bay leaf to the pan; bring to a boil to evaporate the alcohol, then simmer until thickened to make the special sauce.
- Toast the bread slices. Place ham generously on one slice, then layer the cooked sausage, salami, and bacon on top.
- Cover with the second slice of bread to form a sandwich. Wrap the entire sandwich with about 7 slices of cheese, covering all sides so the fillings are hidden.
- Carefully place the fried egg on top of the cheese mound.
- Remove the bay leaf from the sauce, then pour the hot sauce generously over the egg and cheese sandwich, allowing the cheese to melt naturally. Serve.
- Fry an egg sunny side up; cook sausage and bacon until golden; set aside.
- Sauté onion and garlic, then simmer with tomato sauce, beer, water, and bay leaf to make the sauce.
- On toasted bread, layer ham, sausage, salami, and bacon; top with second bread slice; wrap with 7 slices of cheese.
- Place fried egg on top; pour hot tomato beer sauce generously over and serve.
Cooking tips 💡
- Generously cover the sandwich with cheese so that when the hot sauce is poured, it envelops the whole sandwich in a soft, rich blanket.
- This dish is meant to have the bread and ingredients soak up the sauce, so pour the sauce immediately while hot for the best flavor.
