Solo Cooking God's Spoonable Spicy Tofu Buldak

Crush the buldak ramen into small pieces, add soft tofu and cheese to mellow the spiciness, creating a delicious ramen dish that’s easy to scoop and enjoy with a spoon.

🙋 Recommended for

  • Those who find buldak ramen too spicy and want a fun, creamy way to enjoy it
  • People looking for a late-night snack that can be eaten easily with a spoon instead of chopsticks
  • Fans of the smooth, rich combination of soft tofu and cheese

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • buldak ramen 1 pack
  • water 1.5 cups
  • soft tofu 1 pack
  • tonkatsu sauce 2 tablespoons
  • sweet corn 4 tablespoons (or 0.5 tablespoon sugar)
  • mozzarella cheese to taste

Recipe 🍳

  1. Separate the liquid seasoning and fried noodles from the buldak ramen pack, then crush the ramen noodles into small pieces using the pack itself.
  2. Pour 1.5 cups of water into a pan and add all the crushed ramen noodles.
  3. Add one pack of soft tofu, one pack of buldak liquid seasoning, and 2 tablespoons of tonkatsu sauce. Simmer until the noodles are fully cooked.
  4. When the broth has thickened slightly and the noodles are tender, add 4 tablespoons of sweet corn generously for sweetness and texture.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top and stir roughly until the cheese melts smoothly.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved buldak ramen fried noodles on top to finish.
  1. Crush the ramen into small pieces and add to a pan with water, soft tofu, buldak seasoning, and tonkatsu sauce. Simmer together.
  2. Once the noodles are cooked and the broth has reduced, add sweet corn and mozzarella cheese, stirring until the cheese melts.
  3. Top with the included fried noodles and serve, ready to be enjoyed with a spoon.

Cooking tips 💡

  • If sweet corn is unavailable, use half a tablespoon of sugar to balance the spicy and salty flavors.
  • Tonkatsu sauce is essential—it softens the heat while enhancing the savory depth of the dish.
  • Crush the noodles very finely so they don’t stick out when scooping with a spoon, ensuring a smooth and pleasant texture.
