Solo Cooking God's Eat-It-Yourself Pocachip Pizza

Using potato chips as a base, simmered with milk to create a moist potato dough, topped with savory ingredients and cheese for a homemade, handheld pizza

🙋 Recommended for

  • Those who want to try a pizza with a rich, savory potato base instead of flour dough
  • People who want to make a quick, easy handheld pizza at home without special tools, perfect for enjoying with cold beer

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • potato chips 1 pack
  • milk about 400ml
  • onion 1/2
  • pork belly slices small amount
  • frozen shrimp handful
  • soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • tomato spaghetti sauce appropriate amount
  • mozzarella cheese generous amount
  • sliced cheddar cheese 1 piece
  • parsley powder a little

Recipe 🍳

  1. In a pan, sauté sliced onion, pork belly slices, and thawed shrimp until the meat and shrimp are fully cooked.
  2. Once the ingredients are cooked, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce around the edge of the pan to enhance flavor and aroma, then transfer the topping to a separate bowl temporarily.
  3. Wipe the pan clean with a kitchen towel, crush the entire pack of potato chips, and add them to the pan, gradually pouring in milk.
  4. Simmer over low heat until the potato chip texture disappears and the mixture forms a cohesive, soft dough.
  5. Spread a thin, even layer of tomato spaghetti sauce on top of the finished dough, then place the pre-cooked topping evenly on top.
  6. Generously sprinkle mozzarella and sliced cheddar cheese over the top, sprinkle parsley, cover with a lid, and cook until the cheese is completely melted.
  1. Sauté onion, pork belly slices, and shrimp, adding soy sauce for flavor to make the topping.
  2. Add potato chips and milk to the pan, simmering over low heat until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  3. Top the dough with tomato sauce, prepared topping, and plenty of cheese, then cover and cook until the cheese melts.

Cooking tips 💡

  • You can freely substitute the pizza toppings with your favorite ingredients such as mushrooms, bacon, or corn.
  • Gradually add milk while monitoring the texture, adjusting as needed until the potato chips are moist and form a cohesive dough.
