Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- canned ham 1/2 can
- egg 2 pieces
- sliced cheese 1 piece
- soy sauce 1 tablespoon
- rice 1 bowl
- sesame oil 1 drop
- parsley powder or green onion a little
Recipe 🍳
- Place half a can of canned ham into a plastic bag and mash it finely by hand.
- Add the mashed ham to a dry pan and cook until the surface turns a deep brown and becomes crispy.
- Once the ham is crispy, push it to one side of the pan to create an empty space.
- Crack two eggs into the empty space.
- Tear one slice of sliced cheese with your hands and evenly distribute it over the egg whites.
- Gently scramble the mixture, making sure not to disturb the yolk too much, so the melted cheese blends smoothly with the whites.
- Turn off the heat completely and evenly pour 1 tablespoon of soy sauce over the scrambled eggs.
- Gently poke the yolk to burst it, stirring slightly to mix the yolk with the soy sauce and white scramble.
- Serve warm rice in a bowl, arrange the crispy ham and cheese scrambled eggs attractively on top, then drizzle with 1 drop of sesame oil and sprinkle with parsley powder or green onion to finish.
- Mash the canned ham in a bag and fry it until crispy in a pan, pushing it to one side.
- In the empty space, add eggs and cheese, gently scrambling mainly the whites.
- Turn off the heat, mix in soy sauce and yolk, then place on top of rice with sesame oil and serve.
Cooking tips 💡
- Cook the ham thoroughly until all moisture evaporates—this ensures a crisp, satisfying crunch.
- Cooking the cheese together with the egg whites gives a rich, creamy, and buttery depth without needing actual butter.
- Always turn off the heat before adding soy sauce to prevent burning and preserve its smooth, savory flavor.
