Ingredients needed 🛒4 servings
- store-bought chocolate about 800g
- 1 cup fresh cream (if using milk, half cup)
- cocoa powder appropriate amount
- green tea powder appropriate amount
Recipe 🍳
- Line the inside of a suitably sized side dish container neatly with plastic wrap, pressing it tightly against the sides.
- Unwrap all the prepared store-bought chocolate and gather it together in a bowl.
- Pour 1 cup of fresh cream into a pot and heat it gently just until the edges begin to bubble, then turn off the heat.
- Add all the prepared chocolate into the warmed cream and stir with a spatula, using the residual heat, until completely melted.
- Once the chocolate is smooth with no lumps, pour it into the plastic-wrapped container and spread it evenly.
- Close the container lid to prevent refrigerator odors from seeping in, and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until firm.
- Spread cocoa powder evenly on a flat surface, take out the hardened chocolate, and cut it into neat rectangular block shapes.
- Place the cocoa powder or green tea powder in a resealable bag, add the cut chocolate pieces, and shake gently to coat the outside evenly.
- Line a side dish container with plastic wrap, add chocolate to warmed fresh cream and melt completely.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the container and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Cut the chocolate into squares, then put them in a bag with cocoa powder and shake to coat.
Cooking tips 💡
- Do not boil the fresh cream for too long, as it can develop an unpleasant smell; turn off the heat as soon as the edges start to bubble.
- When chilling the chocolate in the refrigerator, make sure to seal it tightly to prevent it from absorbing odors.
- Slightly warm the knife before cutting to get clean, unmussed slices.
