Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • 100g pork belly
  • 1/2 cup napa cabbage kimchi
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onion
  • 1 bowl cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp gochugaru
  • 1 egg

Recipe 🍳

  1. Add oil to a pan, put in 2 tablespoons chopped green onion, and stir-fry over medium heat until fragrant to make scallion oil.
  2. When the scallion aroma rises, add the pork belly and stir-fry until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Cut the cooked pork belly into small pieces with scissors, then add chopped napa cabbage kimchi and stir-fry in the rendered meat oil.
  4. When the kimchi softens, add 1 bowl of rice and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (the all-purpose cheat key).
  5. To give it an appetizing red color, sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon gochugaru, then stir-fry well so the rice and ingredients are evenly mixed.
  6. Nicely plate the fried rice, and top with a soft-boiled fried egg cooked in a separate pan to finish.

  • Gochugaru is more for visual appeal to make it look appetizing rather than seasoning, so adjust to taste.
