Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- beef-style pork 200g
- pasta 1 serving
- whole garlic 1 handful
- green onion 1 stalk
- onion 0.5 piece
- green chili pepper 1 piece
- vegetable oil generously
- gochujang 1 tablespoon
- oyster sauce 1 teaspoon
- sugar 1 teaspoon
- red pepper powder 1 teaspoon
- pasta water 3~4 teaspoons
- salt a pinch
- parsley powder a pinch
Recipe 🍳
- Slice the whole garlic into thin pieces, separate the white and green parts of the green onion and chop finely. Slice the onion and mince the green chili pepper.
- Boil the pasta in a pot of vigorously boiling water with a pinch of salt until al dente, then remove and set aside. Reserve a small amount of the pasta water.
- Heat vegetable oil generously in a pan, add the sliced garlic and fry until golden brown and crispy, stirring continuously. Remove the garlic and set aside separately.
- In the same pan with the remaining garlic oil, add the white part of the green onion, 200g of pork, and 2 teaspoons of minced garlic. Sauté slowly until the pork is fully cooked.
- Add the prepared onion, green part of the green onion, and minced green chili pepper. Stir in 1 tablespoon of gochujang, 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of red pepper powder, and cook until the sauce is well incorporated.
- Add the reserved pasta and 3–4 teaspoons of pasta water, mixing thoroughly to ensure the sauce evenly coats the noodles without drying out.
- Transfer the pasta and stir-fried pork to a serving bowl, top generously with the previously fried garlic slices and a sprinkle of parsley powder.
- Cook the pasta and set it aside, reserving some pasta water.
- Fry the garlic slices in oil until crispy, then set them aside. Use the garlic oil to sauté the white part of green onion, pork, and minced garlic.
- Add onion, green chili pepper, gochujang, oyster sauce, sugar, and red pepper powder to make the stir-fried pork sauce, then combine with the pasta and reserved pasta water.
- Top generously with the fried garlic and serve.
Cooking tips 💡
- When frying the garlic slices, continuously shake the pan over medium heat to prevent burning—this ensures a crisp texture without bitterness.
- Any thinly sliced pork cut such as shoulder, leg, or thin bacon will work well for this dish.
