- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- dried seaweed flakes as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Place 200g minced meat in a heated pan and start stir-frying.
- Season the meat with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp gochujang.
- Stir-fry over high heat for about 5 minutes until all moisture from the meat has completely evaporated.
- Put rice in a bowl and add an appropriate amount of the stir-fried meat.
- Mix well so the seasoning evenly coats the rice, then firmly shape into round balls so they don't fall apart.
- Lightly coat the surface with dried seaweed flakes to finish.
- Stir-fry minced meat with soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and gochujang.
- Stir-fry over high heat for about 5 minutes until all moisture evaporates.
- Mix rice with the stir-fried meat, shape firmly, and coat with dried seaweed flakes.
Cooking tips 💡
- If there is any moisture left in the stir-fried meat, the rice balls won't hold together well and will become soggy, so be sure to stir-fry until completely dry.
- For children who cannot handle spicy food at all, omit the gochujang and season only with soy sauce and sugar for a soy sauce bulgogi flavor.
