Ingredients needed 🛒3 servings
- 1/4 can of Spam
- 6 eggs
- 1 string cheese
- Cooking oil as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Cut the Spam into long sticks similar in thickness to the string cheese.
- Crack 6 eggs into a bowl and beat until smooth with no lumps.
- Heat a square pan with cooking oil, then lightly wipe with a paper towel to coat.
- Pour a thin layer of egg mixture just covering the bottom and spread it out.
- Place the Spam stick and string cheese side by side slightly in front of the center of the egg layer.
- Carefully roll up the egg to enclose the cheese and Spam, gradually adding more egg mixture to the empty spaces to build thickness.
- If the surface turns brown when flipped, the heat is too high; immediately reduce to low heat to maintain a yellow color.
- Let the finished egg roll cool on a cutting board, then slice into even pieces.
- Beat 6 eggs smoothly; cut Spam into long sticks the size of the cheese.
- In an oil-coated pan, pour a thin layer of egg, add Spam and cheese, and roll up.
- Continue adding egg mixture and roll over low heat until thick, then cool and slice.
Cooking tips 💡
- Use about 6 eggs (enough to fill half the pan diameter) for the ideal thickness.
- Let the egg roll cool completely before slicing to prevent the cheese and egg from collapsing.
