  • cabbage 1 head
  • coarse salt as needed
  • red pepper powder 1 cup
  • minced garlic 5-6 tablespoons
  • ginger a small amount
  • onion as needed
  • sugar 6 tablespoons
  • squid fish sauce 6-7 tablespoons
  • plum syrup a small amount
  • salt a small amount
  • leftover rice as needed

Recipe 🍳

  1. Cut the cabbage into large, thick pieces.
  2. Sprinkle coarse salt evenly over the chopped cabbage and let it sit to cure.
  3. Place red pepper powder, minced garlic, ginger, onion, sugar, squid fish sauce, plum syrup, a little salt, and leftover rice into a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. After curing, drain the cabbage thoroughly by placing it in a colander to remove all excess water.
  5. Pour the blended seasoning over the drained cabbage and mix well to combine.
  1. Cut cabbage into thick pieces and cure with coarse salt.
  2. Blend leftover rice and all seasoning ingredients together in a blender.
  3. Drain the cured cabbage completely and toss with the seasoning.
