- cabbage 1 head
- coarse salt as needed
- red pepper powder 1 cup
- minced garlic 5-6 tablespoons
- ginger a small amount
- onion as needed
- sugar 6 tablespoons
- squid fish sauce 6-7 tablespoons
- plum syrup a small amount
- salt a small amount
- leftover rice as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Cut the cabbage into large, thick pieces.
- Sprinkle coarse salt evenly over the chopped cabbage and let it sit to cure.
- Place red pepper powder, minced garlic, ginger, onion, sugar, squid fish sauce, plum syrup, a little salt, and leftover rice into a blender and blend until smooth.
- After curing, drain the cabbage thoroughly by placing it in a colander to remove all excess water.
- Pour the blended seasoning over the drained cabbage and mix well to combine.
- Cut cabbage into thick pieces and cure with coarse salt.
- Blend leftover rice and all seasoning ingredients together in a blender.
- Drain the cured cabbage completely and toss with the seasoning.
