Okjubu's Tuna Curry

Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- Potato 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 1/2 piece
- Solid curry block 4 pieces
- Tuna can 1 can
- Cooking oil a little
- Pepper a little
- Seasoning salt a little
- Water 600ml
Recipe 🍳
- Cut onion, potato, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat cooking oil in a pot, add the prepared vegetables, and sauté until softened. Sprinkle with pepper and seasoning salt for preliminary seasoning.
- Pour in 600ml of water and add the solid curry block, stirring well to dissolve without forming lumps.
- Once the curry begins to boil, first squeeze out and add only the tuna can broth (oil), then simmer for about 5 minutes to fully cook the vegetables.
- When the vegetables are fully cooked, add all the tuna meat at the end and simmer briefly to finish.
- Dice the vegetables.
- Sauté the vegetables in a pot, seasoning with pepper and salt.
- Add water and solid curry block, mixing well.
- First add the tuna broth and simmer for 5 minutes to cook the vegetables.
- Add the tuna meat and simmer briefly to finish.
Cooking tips 💡
- Always add the tuna can broth (oil) first and simmer it before adding other ingredients so the deep tuna flavor evenly infuses into the vegetables and broth.
- Adding tuna meat too early and stirring will cause it to break apart easily, so always add it at the final step.
